Surfboard - Tomo Finless Blue Rail 5’9 x 19 3/4 x 1 7/8
The resurgence of finless surfing started in Noosa when Jacob Stuth rode an alaia on the afternoon of March 5, 2005. He traversed across an open shoulder faster than anyone could have imagined on an Ancient Hawaiian alaia replica. Since then, the alaia has gathered a cult following around the world. The buzz you get from riding across an open wave is exhilarating and many many seasoned surfers have said that it brings back the grommet stoke of surfing all over again. Finless, this board also opens up each and every kelpy point break in and around Cape Town.
This board is made from xps foam, 6oz and 4oz on top deck with 4oz on bottom deck. Karoo harvested agave stringer with subtle blue pigment resin tint on rails, Entropy (bio) resin was used to make for a more environmentally friendly surfboard. Casuarina wooden leash plug. Polished, glass coat finish, this board is made to last. Great in and out of the water (wall art).
