So you have lots of speed from the takeoff, into turns and through flat sections. The PE is a finer celled core that holds shape while providing greater flex and feel. A great feature for a board at this price point is the dual EXT stringers that reinforce the performance both flexing into turns and giving you energy on the way out. The HDPE slick is super fast. It incorporates channels that both direct wave energy for speed and provide hold on steep faces. Nose bulbs, typically found on high end boards, provide grip.
